Recruit Spotlight: Kelee Ringo
Call me pathetic, but I love high school football. Not the garbage football in jappy suburban New Jersey, I'm talking about the almost college level ball thousands of miles away in places like Texas, Florida, and California. I guess we all want what we can't have. Since my high school won like 4 games last year, I want to move to a place where our team isn't an absolute disgrace to the town's name. So I thought I would share my knowledge of high school recruits to the few people who actually read this blog.
Kelee Ringo is the number one cornerback in the nation for 2020 from Saguaro High School in Scottsdale, Arizona. 247Sports and Rivals had him as a 5 star recruit. In his time at Saguaro, he racked up 87 total tackles, 13 deflected passes and 5 picks, three of which came in his senior campaign. He draws a lot of comparison to Pro Bowl corner Xavier Rhodes. Ringo had over 30 offers from every top school like Alabama, Clemson, Oregon and Ohio State. He eventually committed to the University of Georgia. Ringo is an amazing addition to the Bulldogs who are trying to get back to the days of when they went to the National Championship a few years back. I expect he will be a first round draft pick in the future.
